My current focus of work is working with communities on large scale mural projects that strengthen, identify and empower the group involved, leaving a legacy piece.
My Artroom is where I teach art classes and have workshops on a weekly basis. My focus is on children and teens along with a women's evening art group and murals for health care businesses. My experience with mural work began in New York where I began working privately for many clients in upstate New York and Connecticut. I was involved in some large scale murals for businesses and offices as well as residential murals. I also began teaching youth art at Tritzie's Treasure Chest. After moving back to Vancouver I focused on involving communities being part of the change and excitement of working together to create art in their own environment.
I lead workshops in New Zealand on art within communities and worked with a community of youth to create a piece in Wellington. I began focusing on elementary schools and the Downtown East Side of Vancouver and with partnership from the City of Vancouver's Anti Graffiti Department I worked on many projects throughout the Vancouver area. Many murals are now in the city of Richmond with Elementary Schools and the school board head office.
